This is a STREET BANGER!!! I love, love, LOVE this song! The beats & the lyrics!! The video is fresh! South African artist, Slikour premiered the video for the song, “Phum’ eLayinini” (translation: get out of the line or the queue)

“The track is about the people who always come to the club to stand at the door and ask for tags or can’t afford their own drinks,” Slikour explains adding, “I know you’ve had an encounter with those types or maybe you are that type?“.

So apparently the video for “Phum’ eLayinini” is a literal expression of this standard encounter at clubs throughout the world.

DJ Luda plays a pimp with plenty of girls on his arm but no money to get through the door of a hot new club. It’s no different for the wannabe clubbers who tumble out of a tiny Corsa, desperate for a night out but with no cash to make it happen.

Also featured on the music video, are Slikour‘s creative compatriots, Shugasmakx, DJ Cleo and DJ Sbu. This is a great “Woza Summer” song & vid!

One of Nigeria’s music hit factories, Mo’Hits Records released a music video for one of it mega artists, the KoKoMaster himself, D’BANJ.

The song was produced by Don Jazzy for Mo’Hits Records. D’Banj‘s brand new album entitled “MR. ENDOWED”, will drop some time this year….no confirmed date yet!

Nicki Minaj’s video for “Your Love” just premiered on MTV. “Your Love“, is 2nd track from “Massive Attack” (produced by Sean Garrett) to be released from her upcoming debut album. Nicki‘s LP, which has not been titled, hits the stores on November 23rd.

This song, which samples Annie Lennox’s 1995 hit “No More I Love You’s”, so far has peaked at #1 on the Billboard Rap Charts, #8 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and #18 on the Billboard Hot 100.

I love this song & vid!!! From the 25 year old entertainer from Nigeria & MoHits artist, Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe aka Wande Coal, comes this hot new music video from his debut album “Mushin to Mohits“.

The single “Who born the maga” is a definitely street banger!!!! It’s a mid-tempo hip-hop beat with some great Don Jazzy’s production touches to it. The song also features MoHits fellow artist and D’Banj’s younger brother, K-Switch and the video was directed by Sesan.

Hectic day today! Two music video releases with similar themes: Home-makers…sexy homemakers! Earlier today, we premiered Sade Adu‘s new video for her second single “BabyFather“, in which she plays a sexy homemaker who is doing daily chores…

And later on today, Beyonce released a brand new music video for her dance track “Why Don’t You Love Me?” & hers is vintage sixties/seventies’ sexy homemaker doing all kinds of house chores. My favorite is scene where she is gardening & she finds a snake, picks it up, all carefree mind you and tosses away!! Classic!
