From Mr. & Mrs. Carter to their new baby daughter is this press statement. They also mentioned that Blue was born naturally and NOT via C-section as previously reported.

Also being corrected reported is that Beyonce and Jay-Z did NOT pay $1.3 million so they could give birth to Blue Ivy in a sealed off private floor.

A rep for Lenox Hill Hospital released a statement, claiming,

“The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to rent an entire maternity floor is simply not true. The family is housed in an executive suite at the hospital and is being billed the standard rate for those accommodations. The family does have its own security detail on site. However, the hospital has been and continues to be in control of managing all security at the facility. We have made every effort to ensure minimal disruption to other families experiencing the births of their own children over the past three days.”

Whoop there it is!

So finally “baby-once” arrived on Saturday night in New York City. Congratulations to papa Jay-Z Carter & mama Beyonce!

According to a hospital employee, Beyonce and her hip-hop hubby, Shawn Carter rented out Manhattan’s Lenox Hill Hospital’s entire fourth floor for $1.3 million. Beyonce had checked into the upper East Side hospital on Friday night under the name “Ingrid Jackson,” for a scheduled C-section delivery of her daughter.

The “Crazy in Love” couple named their bundle of joy, IVy Blue Carter (some are saying the baby’s name is Blue IVy Carter)….regardless, she is here!

Beyonce made the announcement during her guest appearance on Australia’s ‘Sunday Night’ last night. In an earlier interview for a Toronto, Canada television station, she may have slipped and announced that baby on the way is a girl….

The first-time mommy-to-be discussed a number of topics, including the dancers from Mozambique for her “Girls Run The World” music video, taking a year off, major career accomplishments and her marriage to Jay Z.

“Countdown,” is the third single off her chart-topping platinum album  “4″. In the Adria Petty (she also directed Bey’s “Sweet Dreams”) directed music video, baby bump co-stars in this high -energy, spirited music video!

I love that Bey rocks with her all-female band (girls run the world, remember?!?)

Beyonce dolls up in a variety of chic looks and channels Hollywood legendary actress, Audrey Hepburn and her 1957 movie, “Funny Face” as well as the 1964 classic, “My Far Lady”.

She pays tribute to several musical and fashion styles of Hollywood’s golden age. Bey also takes us back to her Dream Girls role with a Deena-Jones inspired look and we get a glimpse of the movie “Fame” when Bey can be seen, auditioning in a studio loft.

B run the world!!! MTV VMAs have revealed that KingBey has joined the list of performers at the 2011 MTV VMAs taking place this Sunday. This will be her first performance at the VMAs in two years!

Beyonce, who’s up for Best Female Video, Best Choreography and Best Cinematography awards, joins a lineup of 2011 VMA performers including
superstars like Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown,
Young the Giant, Pitbull and Ne-Yo.

When asked about Mrs. Knowles Carter taking the stage again, Amy Doyle, executive producer of the 2011 MTV VMAs and MTV’s EVP of Music & Talent said,

“We are thrilled to have Beyoncé return to her rightful musical home at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.  Her performances at the VMAs are legendary — leaving everyone breathless and talking for days. We can’t wait to see her set the stage on fire once again!”
