JUST IN: Miss Virginia, Caressa Cameron wins 2010 Miss America in Las Vegas!

And the winner is…

22-year-old broadcast journalism student, Miss Virginia, Caressa Cameron won the 2010 Miss America title beating 52 other contestants. The prize included a $50,000 scholarship and the Miss America crown!

For the talent portion, Caressa sang Beyonce’s song “LISTEN”…check it out!

The panel of judges included radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, actress Vivica A. Fox, musician Dave Koz, Miss America 2002 Katie Harman, gymnast Shawn Johnson and former “American Idol” finalist Brooke White. Comedian Paul Rodriguez was set to be a judge, but organizers said he pulled out because of a family emergency.

Rush Limbaugh was a judge? Really? How is Rush an expert in…ok, ok, ok, I really need to focus here! [Breathe] Yayee, congratulations Caressa!

    Way to go Caresa! Very happy for her and the girl truly has TALENT! I’m sure tht Beyonce number blew off Rush L! Now I seriously hope this newly crowned beauty doesn’t hve skeletons that are ‘rattling’ and dancing in her closet…..coz it will be a shame to see her lose her crown like….. u know who!
    Wish her all the best and hope whatever she does does contribute s to healing and changing the world to make it a better place!

    She is simply fabulous!!! Ughghh Rush…..he is going to be on air talking about how affirmative action got the girl on that platform! Anyhoo this is a GOOD LOOK. I like that she is talented and intelligent! Yay for sistahs making it rain ;)

    I’d say she sticks to being beautiful. She definitely can hit the big notes — as shown by the way she ended the song — but she doesn’t have a good tone to her voice. When you do a Beyonce’s song and you make me yearn for the original, you know your vocals are average at best, since we all agree that Beyonce herself would never be mistaken for a great singer.
