It is no secret within my circle of friends & family, that I greatly admire Oprah Winfrey. I have long considered her a “mentor in my heart & head“…

Oprah Gail Winfrey was born on January 29th, 1954 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to unmarried teenage parents. She was later on raised by her mother in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood.

Oprah’s grandmother, Hattie Mae Lee raised her until she was six years old. They lived in deep poverty that often times Oprah wore dresses made of potato sacks, for which the local children made fun of her and…… the rest is history! Because y’all know who ended up laughing all the way to the bank, bought it & came back with it to share with others less fortunate!

Oprah is celebrating with a Friday live Oprah show with a live studio audience filled with over 100 other peeps that share the January 29th birth date.  The media mogul is still the hottest chic in the game, even with the imminent end of her reign as the queen of daytime talkshow TVin 2011.
