Mirriam Makeba Sings For Honda & North American International Auto Show Charity Preview Gala!

The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) officially ended today!

With the super talent jewelery designer Carolyn Ferrari (r) & Kristyn (c)!

I attended the NAIAS Charity Preview Ball with my good friends, designers, Mark England, Cedi Johnson, Carolyn Ferrari and model scout, Robere Lett. Because of them, I get into most events and we had a ball at this year’s Charity Gala where tickets are between $250 – $450 per person!

This is an exclusive, high profile event attended by Who’s Who of the auto industry! Proceeds from the Charity Preview directly benefit a wide range of children’s charities including my mentor’s organization, Matrix Human Services.

I never got the chance to experience LIVE, the singing genius of the late Mirriam Makeba, affectionately known as Mama Africa. So I was pleasantly surprised to hear her voice and her “Pata Pata” song on the commercial for the all new Honda Accord Crosstour. So in honor of her memory, I stopped by the Honda section to peep the actual Honda Accor Crosstour…nice car actually! Check the commercial video below…
