Wyclef Jean’s Moving Recount of His Visit to Haiti…

We urge you to continue in your efforts to assist the people of HAITI – every available resource, from money, medical supplies, food, clothing to prayer!

Haitian-born artist, Wyclef Jean held a press conference to discuss his recent visit to Haiti after last week’s horrific earthquake.   An emotional Wyclef described the conditions of Haiti. “I’m not the one that was reporting the news… I’m the one that was carrying the dead bodies on the street.  I don’t cry for myself; I cry for them.  For every success story you see, there’s another 40,000 being buried.“

Next week, Wyclef’s non-profit organization Yele Haiti plans to fly medical supplies and water to Port-au-Prince (Haiti’s capital).  According to the folks at ABC, Jean has raised more than $2 million through his charity.
